Brother Santa Carl Sonkowsky
Meet Brother Carl who is better known in the winter months around this Lodge as
Santa Carl. We are truly lucky to have Carl as a Brother and member of our Lodge.
Each year Carl chair’s the Christmas committee. The committee is responsible for
locating a family with needs from Neenah and Menasha and then providing them with
an excellent Christmas experience. He patiently escorts them out Christmas shopping,
allowing the family members ample time to enjoy their shopping experience. Carl is
always supported with a generous budget and a couple of Lodge elves but without his
dedication, patience, and love we have to wonder if we or the families would enjoy the
Christmas experience as much as we do. Thank you Brother Carl!

W.M. Jeff Mainville saw light in technology and
the need to use it to keep our lodge up to date on
current events, past events, and contact info for
the brethren and the general public with interest
in Masonry. Therefore, he assigned a committee
to design and establish a website. After a couple
of committee meetings, many great ideas from all
members of the committee, and input from the
brethren of our lodge, we now have a fully
functional website to call our own. It was a very
fun project to do and the help of the other
committee members was needed and
appreciated. On the committee were, in the
picture from left to right, Brother Tim Kohler,
Brother Travis Lehrer, Brother Tim Hogden, and
of course we can’t forget our loved brother Ken
Holmes Jr which was unable to attend for the
photo. The site took about a month to design and
publish with only minor changes to it after it was
published just to make it better. Thanks to all of
the committee members for the wonderful job on
an excellent website.

Annual Picnic 2007.......another fun and successful one for Twin Cities Lodge!!!
Brethren and families enjoy another wonderful meal, as Masons love to do. The picnic was
another successful one planned and organized be brother Tim Hogden and his wonderful wife.
There was a wide spread of food to eat, a variety of drinks for everyone to enjoy, a lot of great
conversation and fellowship, and even toys, face painting, balloon tying, and games for the kids.
It was all put on at The Whiting Boat House on Doty Island. Everyone enjoyed themselves very
much. A big thanks to Tim for his hard work as well as brothers Jeff Mainville, Ken Holmes,
Doug DeBaere, Travis Lehrer, and all that helped out to make the even successful and
enjoyable for everyone.
March 2008 All Masonic Poker Challenge.
In March, the Worshipful Master decided it was time to
break up the winter months a bit and help everyone get
out of the house as we are all suffering from cabin fever
so, he created the All Masonic Poker Challenge for the
brethren and visitors to enjoy. It was quite successful
and a lot of fun.

Kentucky's Barker Lodge visit to Wisconsin's Twin Cities Lodge 2008
Barker Lodge #129 visited us again
as they have each year for almost 15
years. We enjoyed the company of the
visiting brethren, put on the MM degree
for one of the visiting brother, and really
enjoyed the fellowship and brotherly love.
We enjoyed a nice dinner on their arrival
as well as a great breakfast before their
depart, both at the Riverwalk Holiday Inn,
downtown Neenah.
Visiting brother John Edwin
Jolley was even able to take
part in some outdoor fishing
festivities during their
visit....without leaving the lodge!!!

The 2008 Annual Masonic Picnic was yet
another success. Bro Tim H. did a fantastic
job at setting it all up. The food was
excellent, games were fun, and even the
face painting done by Jason K. really made
everyone happy.
